– Walking Together to Fight Cancer –
Join Team Oneida Health and show your support for those who are affected by Cancer and for our Oneida Health Cancer Care program. This year’s event is located at Vets Field in Oneida on Saturday, June 1 starting at 12:00 pm. We encourage all staff, family members, and friends to join us – we have a number of activities through out the day. Everyone who signs up and participates will receive a free Team Oneida Health t-shirt while supplies last. We are hoping to have someone on the track during the entire event. The relay for life story In May 1985 Dr. Gordy Klatt, a colorectal surgeon, decided to raise money for the American Cancer Society by doing something he enjoyed — running marathons. He spent 24 hours circling the University of Puget Sound’s Baker Stadium track — covering a total distance of more than 83 miles. Relay for Life Grants 2019.
